Kayla Schaffroth (she/her), a San Diego native, received her Bachelor of the Fine Arts in Musical Theatre at Central Washington University. Kayla has filmed numerous commercials and multiple award nominated feature films. She was awarded "Best Actress" at KPBS's GI Film Awards. She has been dancing since she was three and trained in the styles of ballet, tap, jazz, musical theatre, contemporary, lyrical, hip hop, and ballroom. She performs professionally in regional theaters across the country and has performed featured shows at the world-famous San Diego Zoo and Hotel Del Coronado. In addition, she choreographs for professional theatres in the San Diego area, as well as competition dance. Kayla discovered her love for coaching young performers early on. Her students have booked on-camera/VO work on Disney, Netflix, Paramount and more. Theatrically, you can see her student on all the professional San Diego stages (Old Globe, Moonlight Theatre, San Diego Musical Theatre). Her happy place is at Project Performer, working with the next generation of performers. She looks forward to working with you!
